  1. Thank for posting these images. I see what you mean about how solid it is. Doesn't look like any light could pass through that. I guess my marble will remain a mystery for now. Thanks again.
  2. For what it's worth(which probably isn't much) when I Google search "vacor twister" the first image that pops up is one that sold on ebay with two blow holes so those traits are out there...
  3. Hello all. My name is Connor and I'm a marbleholic. I'm not new to collecting things but I am new to marbles. I've been enjoying my newfound hobby and I'm very appreciative for this forum and the helpfulness of the marble community. Thanks!
  4. I have a couple. These were given to me by my dad not too long ago. I was helping sort through his collection and he had several of each of these types in a drawer of random shooter size mibs.
  5. A little drizzle on a sunny Saturday in the desert
  6. Here's a few of my favorites. Probably not htf but I like them. The first one has some interesting metallic ribbons on the surface. The second one has a white ribbon on one side and yellow on the other. The last one is a blue and white 6 vane with one single vane having two dark red ribbons.
  7. I finally got around to posting some on ebay. Here is the link. https://www.ebay.com/itm/166537224055
  8. I'm feeling a little corkscrewie today so I'm glad it's Friday!
  9. I really appreciate all the input on this one. My first thoughts on this was Akro milky as that was the closest example I could find while browsing through photos online. But the similarities weren't close enough for me to decide with certainty. I. know the patterns on the milkies is highly variable but this oxblood pattern just didn't match any of the milky examples I could find. I dont own any Akro milkies to compare side by side. If someone out there that has one would backlight it would be cool to see a comparison. Anymore input is always welcome and appreciated!
  10. I shared this photo here not to long ago in an ID thread.
  11. Seller said this one came with some dug Heatons but couldn't confirm any ID on it. Measures out at 5/8". I tried to show it in different lighting.
  12. Thanks for the info. I haven't posted any of them to ebay yet but I will share the link when I do.
  13. I'm unclear of the rules on this subject and didn't want to ruffle any feathers. Are we allowed to link/promote our ebay auctions here? I'm not really a seller but I have a surplus of Akron roller clay marbles that I'd love to put in the hands of other collectors that wanted them. Honestly I'd prefer to trade but I'm new to the marble world so I haven't earned any trust YET. So as of now I might try and auction off a few lots of them and see how it goes...
  14. It caught my eye. Looks like similar color combo to mine.
  15. It looks like you have a similar color combo in this picture that you posted about uv pop!
  16. I appreciate everyone's input. Thank you.
  17. Thanks Chad I appreciate the input and the examples. I can see what you are talking about. I had seen some pictures of a ppp with the same color combination without that darker border which created doubt in what was looking at. I'm so new to collecting that I'm easily confused. But I am learning and enjoying the process.
  18. Thanks Chad! I was thinking ppp but the other examples I saw with similar color combo didn't have the dark lines.
  19. Not sure on this patch. Strong uv from the base glass. Spot on 5/8".
  20. Thanks for sharing these. I recently scored a few boxes of similar peewee clays from a local auction. The boxes are smaller than yours measuring closer to 2x3 inches and no staples in mine. Most of mine are marked China marbles Made in Germany
  21. I have a few Akron rollers. Cool piece of marble history.
