I think this rainbo is kinda cool. There is some debris trapped inside the large bubble that you can see rattle around when you move the marble

I spent a good amount of time browsing marble photos from various places online and I couldn't find an example of oxblood on white from any other maker but Akro. Doesn't mean they don't exist but I could find anything. Someone just show me a picture of an Akro milky that backlights similar to this and we can all sleep better at night 🙃

I guess this is a good example of how some marbles won't ever get a true ID confirmation. I guess I will call it Akroish milky oxblood with an asterisk haha. Thanks again for everyone's input on this one!

Yeah my Dad gifted me a couple of them I really like them as well. Some of my favorites of my collection. I'd like to see more photos of the opaque white ones from the original run other than the two floating around but they don't seem to exist...

I appreciate the confirmation. I was fairly certain they were and I told the seller they were as well. I provided them with example photos of known fakes and authentic marbles. They seem surprised but were receptive. I just hope they don't get passed off as authentic to an unsuspecting buyer...

Here are some photos of what I believe to be fake/ counterfeit crockery marbles or "sharpie" marbles that someone local to me asked me to look at today. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe this is a large example of fakes and a good example of what to look out for. Especially if these were to ever end up on the market and passed off as authentic. I would love to hear other opinions.

I'd like to hear more about this. Did Akro "make" their own glass or have a supplier that no other company had acesss to? Marble espionage haha. I love this.

100% Op marble looks waaay nicer than these. I wasn't trying to stir the pot. I only mentioned these in reference to the blow holes in vacor

Is there any better pictures of the white ones floating around out there? Other than the two pictures showing the group of novas I can't find any other reference to them.
