  1. Geez, Rich, somehow you missed the point completely. Try for a little more fun today..........
  2. Good thing for Santa that you weren't at Norco. Added info- Above is a picture of migbar. Not me. That's me with the short beard.
  3. Steph said- "A boy and his dog. Very sweet." I sure didn't stand a chance in that longest beard thread.....
  4. You do look a lot like Santa with that long beard. I bet it does still smell. I lived in Norco in 1963-64. It smelled like Wintering Circus Quarters then. Yuck!
  5. I will talk to that cat for you..................
  6. Yep, they love a little cow and Blueberries too.
  7. Those antique metal guys don't eat any hamburger. These little sweeties love it!
  8. Stacy said- " Bluebirds stick around all winter " We only get them as visitors. My son lives only a few miles away and he has Bluebirds all winter too. He has a spring fed pond that usually has some open water. There are several pastures and dry Cow fields near his woodsy acres. Ann- I can see where spotting a 'Big Woody' would/could make you fall over. We have several breeding pairs of Pileated Woodpeckers nearby. They often get together here in our yard to talk things over. We left a few standing dead trees in our woods to house Woodpeckers. We have quite a few breeding pairs of different species.
  9. hi maw we are all doing great in our new house check your mail today bye for now scooter .
  10. I have been a bird watcher since I was a kid. Birding gets more interesting all the time. Lots of marble people we know are birders as well. There are a surprising number of similarities. http://identify.whatbird.com/mwg/_/0/attrs.aspx Here is a fun & easy to use bird ID site.
  11. Ah, spring has sprung. We saw our first Bluebirds of the year today.
  12. Thanks for the Eagle cam link. They are great to watch. We have a pair nesting nearby. They often visit our yard.
  13. Thanks again TeeElsey, Here's a happy little guy-
  14. Dang! Those Baby Box Turtles were delicious!
  15. Yeah! The Baby Box Turtles have arrived. Here they are-
  16. The names are Southern. I'm already leaning towards liking Scuter best. I've wanted one or two for years. TeeElsey says she has too many. We will give them a good home. Our goal is to get them used to northern living. Sooner or later we will release them in our area. That may be years from now. Everyone but Fritzy is on the edge of their seats waiting for turtle travel. There was a strong native population of them here for years. I hardly ever see one in the wild anymore. I think quite a few were easy to catch by visitors to the river corridor. Some were probably brought home as 'Pets'. .
  17. Scuter Brown, David Wayne, Sally May, and Curtis Loew! WoW What a bunch of beauties. We will be here tomorrow ready to give them all they need. Fritz will have to wait a while to get to know them. We'll keep in touch to let you know they have arrived. Good evening, Lloyd & Chris
  18. SUPERSEX A little old lady who had lost her marbles was running up and down the halls in a nursing home. As she ran, she would flip up the hem of her nightgown and say "Supersex." She ran up to an elderly man in a wheelchair, flipping her gown at him, she said, "Supersex." He sat silently for a moment or two and finally answered, "I'll take the soup."
  19. This tune is from a course in Applied March- Still plenty of winter left in these parts.
  20. Plenty to look at. Pretty too. Yes, that is our driveway.
  21. We just got even more snow overnight. We now have a new all time record amount of February snow in our area. .
