Yeah, the rusty red with the cotton candy color blue makes me think CAC or Peltier. Either way it's definitely a killer find.

Cool! This one was well loved.

Looks Vitro-ish to me.

Love the deep blue!

Matsuno and Seike, Japanese veneered marbles
YasudaCollector replied to shiroaiko's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
Ooh, I'll have to look through my variegated patches. I have a large Mason jar filled to the brim with them! I've even got a couple of shooter sized ones. -
Wow!!! Nice finds! 😎

Man, this looks like a real stumper. Is there any chance it's a pelt? My brother has a 1" shooter that's called a "burnt sunset". The smoky brownish purple ribbons kinda remind me of it. It also has a pretty similar base color too.

Yeah, my brother has a pelt rainbo shooter in his collection with pretty much the same greenish brown ribbons. Still a really cool marble though. 😎

Maybe it's an older Mexican made imperial. I've heard a couple other collectors say that the Mexican imperials are older, and have a bit better glass than the Chinese or Taiwan-made ones.

Love the nice swirling (and the fall colors too!)

Ooh, nice navy blue color!

Ooh, this looks like a lovely amber Yasuda!

Sure! 🙂 I admit, I don't know a whole lot about them, but I've seen some Vitro bags with Anacortes labels that have some really neat looking patch types in them. (I've also heard other collectors say Vitro dabbled in patch marbles while they were in Anacortes). One of the color combinations seems to be a windex blue base with a white patch, like this one. I've also seen emerald green with white. Additionally, I've seen some examples containing opaque brown with a creamy off-white.

Ooh, this looks almost exactly like a couple of Anacortes Vitro patches I have.

Cool pelt! I've never seen one quite like this before.
