MrsMopar
What's the biggest known cat's eye? Is over an inch considered really big? Are there a lot of them out there? Thanx :-) Felicia

hdale7
Over an inch are considered big. I don't know the record size. I have quite a few that are close to an 1 inch or an inch. I don't know if I have any that are over much over an 1 inch though.
MrsMopar
Thank you Winnie and Howard. You know, when you go looking at yer marbles, ya kinda wonder some things at different times and I had wondered about one that is bigger than others that I have. On a yardstick, it looks like it's close to 1 and 1/4. :-) Felicia

Scoop
It's funny... This brings up a memory of when we traded marbles as kids... I had a big blue Cat's Eye, that was the biggest one any of the kids at school had seen.... I have no idea what it measured. I just remember it was special because no one had a hand big enough to completely close over it.... 'Wish I knew where that was, now....................... I'llhavethat1
1-3/8" is the biggest on-hand to measure, but 3 color type instead of single color.. The largest single color machinemade like that I've seen is closer to 2", and will soon have a better view of things on top of my flag pole. Scoop
Check out Griff's Cat's Eyes for sale These are contemporary, made by Ray Laubs... And, they are REALLY cool!!! Hey Griff, you may do better breakin' up the group... I've got a few, but I'd probably buy a couple more... I just don't need a dozen (or, have the $$, either!! LOL)
