MrsMopar
Were there many transparent teal rainbo's? I saw one on the peltiermarbles.com site. Thanx for any info. :-) Felicia
david Chamberlain
Teal is a tough one. You don't hear that color often. Dave McCullough sent me five marbles from the Madyia II run that he described as 'light teal' and less than 5000 of them made. I dunno, when you're talking 5000 "less than" hardly covers it! As you may have determined by now I have no idea how to answer your question; thought I'd just bumble around and confuse you all the more. Steph
Here's the picture from peltiermarbles.com, might help the discussion.
MrsMopar
LOL David, just what I need, more confusion...LOL Teal seems like an unusual but attractive color in regards to marbles. Thanx Steph for the picture. I don't recall seeing any posted when folks put up rainbo's and wondered if they are either too common or not so common...which one? I had also noticed there wasn't much as far as purple in pelts on that site....wassupwiddat? :-) Felicia
semdot
Peltier did an aqua slag of course. Don't know why they could not have done some rainbows in that glass. Is that different from teal?
MrsMopar
Far as I am told, Aqua is more on the blue side whereas Teal is more on the green side. :-) Felicia
Steph
Might open the conversation up if you asked about blue-green based pelts in general, then draw your own conclusions about the green end of the range. I woulda thought that there were "plenty" of rainbos in that general area. But narrowing it down to a specific shade? I couldn't try it. Not enough rainbos. And not enough comfort with specific shade names.
MrsMopar
Come to think of it...those 7-up ones seem to have varying shades of base glass...hmmm
kbobam
Fel, I cannot BELIEVE that you'd mention 7ups without including me in the conversation! Grinning teal marbles -
MrsMopar
BOB!! Hey there! Now you know I love your themed photos, thanx for showing them too! :-) Felicia
I'llhavethat1
Nice 7-ups, they probably couldn't get far with a woman in a bathing suit on a bottle nowadays. I'll have to dig around but there may be a couple around here. Teal vs. Aqua might be hard to differentiate from pics
popculturizm
I think the front far left one leans in that direction (would be lighter if back lit) pretty sure these are all Pelts (and no Jabo's, but one never knows these days)
