pollyestr2
I got several nice Popeye-type marbles in a lot at auction and I first thought this was one also. However, the base glass is light green and I don't know if it "corks" enoght to be a corkscrew. It measures about 13/16 and is a very attractive marble. marbleus1
What about a couple more pics. with more light on marble (brighter) Looks like it might be a 4 color popeye, definately a cork and Nice! If the white is wispy - not solid and it appears so, just a lot of it, you have scored. David

VTAndrea
Not to rain on your parade, but I don't see any clear glass. Dani (Zaboo) would be the one to give you the right call.
pollyestr2
Sorry, I haven't been able to get any pictures that I considered better. You're right, there doesn't seem to be any clear space. I's covered with a swirling pale green or yellow and maybe a streak of white. If it isn't a Popeye, is it still a corkscrew? Nancy With UV, the light part glows a brilliant yellow/green.
mon
with that "hook", I would say yes on the corkscrew.
Ric
A lazy corkscrew is what I'd call it.
zaboo
hi! ..questions... is it a translucent base base? I'm with david here so far, but do need more pictures.:-) one of the other pole and maybe one showing the side with all the color bands? for sure it's a killer! Nice score! pollyestr2
Light from a maglite can be seen through all but the black. I spent some time today in Photo Tutorials on taking and posting pics and I"m hoping these are of some help.
westcoast_dave
Doesn't seem to have enough clear for a popeye, I think Ric had it right with lazy corkscrew. Nice colors for sure.
pollyestr2
Thanks for all your input. I think I've come to the same conclusion-that it's a lazy corkscrew with pretty colors. Nancy

pollyestr2
David, I appreciate your interest. I guess I'll try it on eBay and get some needed experience at selling individual marbles. Nancy
