Swissmarble
Need your help again, sorry... I bought this marble from "Marblealan" (miss you ) back in 2011. He listed this one as "speckled transparent with mica". It is a breathtaking wet mint marble, size is 27/32 inches. But personally I would have called it "coreless swirl with speckles and mica" or "Josephs Coat with speckles and mica". It is definately transparent (which is not visible on the photos). I have neither seen nor heard of a similar marble of this type. Any suggestions what kind of marble this is ? Thanks for your inputs. Ron
Speed Racer
Super mib!! I'm seeing a blend of EOD (end of day) with swirls and mica. What an unusual beauty!! Not a Joseph, as the end of day (speckles) ruin that chance imo.
lstmmrbls
Beautiful. But looks real similar to some newer types.
machinemades
It could be a 'Mist Mica'.

Swissmarble
okay, thanks for all these suggestions... But I am more confused now I have another marble which looks a bit similar. But this one is an onionskin definately. Really difficult in what category to put that one....
ann
Naked (no skin) onionskin with mica(?) thanks I'm inclined to go with Dan here . . . Nice marble. So's the other one you posted (shrunken onionskin with mica?)
1DanS
Thank you Ann. The second marble is a good example of what I was talking about. Try to imagine that marble without the yellow "skin" and you have one very close to your first marble. thanks
I'llhavethat1
I'd agree with onionskin-type, before an opaque white or yellow was used on the onionskins we all know and love Nice reverse twist. It would span quite a few categories
Swissmarble
Thank you very much for all your inputs. I like the idea of a "naked onionskin", so I will use that for my files. Thanks Ron
