Steph
Sometimes I google hoping to find some fun marble-related news item to post. .... and sometimes I can't even hint about what I found because it's too awful. There's some really sketchy stuff which happens with marbles.

Hoody
Is it true those are called "sugar books"? By the way: I am working on a new ball run for a couple of weeks. Since it is not using marbles but ping pong balls instead I am really unsure if I should post about in the "marble runs" sub forum. May I?
Steph
Definitely are ration books called "sugar books". I already don't remember what mine looked like, and don't know if there were separate books for sugar and other things. (The after-move unpacking and organizing is still in process.) Certainly! Post it for us!

lstmmrbls
When I lived by the water there was a male Woody paired with a female Mallard. Very funny looking couple.
Hipocritter
Woodies are a funny looking pair. That male has been here for a long time. I am surprised it still looks as good as it does. I have stuffed a few other easier critters, but none since the boys were young. It is a School Closing Snow Day here. We already have at least 10" of new snow ! Steph
Just watched a Law & Order SVU where ... it took me awhile ... but I finally figured out that both of the male guest stars had played husband to Hayley Mills in Parent Trap sequels. Tom Skerritt and Barry Bostwick Too bad they didn't get Hayley Mills to also guest!
