Al Oregon
Interesting article - did not read it completely but the marbles playing logic fits in quite well.
Shamrock Marbles
Steph, Absolutely relative to this board and a few threads. Transdisciplinary Social Learning and Cognitive Dissonance are two elements that struck home. Great read, but one has to read it multiple times before sinking in. Kind of like reading a patent. Thanks! Sincerely, John McCormick "Shamrock Marbles"
kbobam
What? You didn't take it all in at once? And Steph, who is this marble-playing 'Jill' character? I have a strong suspicion she's the sister of our classic buddy 'Johnnie'! Seriously though, the article looks pretty interesting. Although I'm still working through it. And questioning whether 'leadership' should be in the title in the way it is. Doesn't seem to be the 'thrust' of the whole thing. Ultimately, I'm going to take John's suggestion and read it multiple times. While I'm at it, I'll experiment with drinking varying amounts of coffee and seeing how far I get before I need to take a break. (It's interesting, but easy it's not.) Hopefully this will lead to my producing a government pamphlet in the traditional 'Johnnie' style. It'll be titled: "Conspicuous Caffeine Consumption and Cognitive Comprehension" -or- "Why Can't Bobby Blink?"
sissydear
I was going to read it until you guys talked about how difficult it is and how I'd have to read it several times.

kbobam
I'm fine, thanks! Although feeling a little guilty for not emphasizing 'interesting' a little more in that last post. I hope Edna decides to read the article. ( :
