kbobam
The original concept, the 'directive', the graphics, and the combination of the three are all hilarious!
Steph
Is an open-faced sandwich an oxymoron?
sclsu
Isn't a hotdog an open faced sandwich? There is technically only one piece of bread
Hoody
Is a hotdog a sandwich? I say No. A sandwich takes one (halved) or more slices of bread to put in between what you like. All the hotdogs I got served up to now have the sausage put into a cut in bread roll (bun). So for me a hotdog is not a sandwich. But I like to eat those sausages put between two slices of toasted and buttered bread (German bread, of course). Yummie!

kbobam
Speaking of which, up until a few years ago I'd spent my entire life completely mistaken about the lyrics to the 'Do-Re-Mi' song. I'd always heard "Ti" as being a drink with "German" bread. Not "jam and". .
Hoody
Okay, better said "German style bread". There are lots of differences between all the kinds of bread around the world and every sort of it tastes its own flavour. Jam and German style bread also is fine. But do not eat "gem on" bread

Or take this one: döner kebab - the german variant at least - then also is a sandwich?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doner_kebab#Germany However, I just stop right now and go to have some lunch without bothering how it is called ...
