Odinlight
Found this in a house I am gutting, most all the old stuff I have found with a date on it is from 1917 to 1929. Was wondering if this is of any value.

Steph
Very nice. Some beautiful old marbles. Handle them (and the box) with care.
Odinlight
Thanks I will do, I am not a collector but I do respect old things. I looked up the darker red ones not sure if mine are the rare ones. Since they have some value I may make a display for them or try to sell them locally one day. Till then I'll take care of them and the box. =)
Steph
I think the darker red ones are what are known as "bricks" by collectors. When that style was first introduced it was called American Cornelian. It is a popular and not easy to find marble style.
