Yupimagrl Posted August 2, 2019 Report Share Posted August 2, 2019 I also have some marbles that appear black but show color in them when "candled". The ones pictured show dark burgundy. Steph Posted August 3, 2019 Report Share Posted August 3, 2019 @Yupimagirl, do yours have an iridescent finish? That would be a sign that they were modern, probably from Asia or possibly Mexico. Possibly a decorative glass, though possible still planned as a toy marble. If not iridescent, then really dark "clearies" and hard to tell the age. Could be, say, 50's. Or could be this century. I do have clearies as well, in blue, green, red, burgundy, purple, pink and amber. Some of those also have an iridescent finish. I'm learning so much. Thank you.
