Found a josephcoat today

Not like the other german handmades i have , color and base is different

Seaglass ishhh

Ice  ishhhh

Special marble ? Rare ?

Joep, I think the marble just has so much surface wear that it doesn't look anything like it did in its prime, when it probably would have looked a lot more at home with its brethren.

But the colors are exceptional compared with the others

It's certainly possible, Joep, but are you sure the look doesn't change simply because there is more (wider/thicker) color in the Coat than in the swirls?

I does look like beach glass. If it is and still intact that makes it kind of a rare bird. Thanks

Looks kind of like a paneled onionskin to me.  The surface condition could have been from aquarium, river, sea, lots of play time, etc.  I like the symmetry

Yes, looks to have a white skin on it so an onionskin, the surface ?? who knows, maybe someone threw it in a rock tumbler ??
