All modern and most or all foreign to the US. Most were from Asia and packaged by Imperial toy.  The vast majority of any with the iridescent shine will be modern most foreign. A few modern iridescent marbles were made by Jabo. Not many vintage iridescent marbles, a few by Vitro late 1980's and very few by Peltier.

Welcome curt to TheMarbleConnection.
This is my best explanation.
Any solid-colored marble that is found with iridescent qualities is more than likely made for the handmade crafts that are often sold at Flea markets or household sales regardless of the color involved and you will find them at the usual craft places.
The iridescent qualities of these marbles is a worldwide thing and is sprayed on during the initial cooling while they are going down the rollers to be rounded.
@Alan more than likely has a more involved description of this process and I will defer to him for a better explanation.
Thanks for asking and of course---

I agree with what was said here - and nothing really to add.  When you see that iridescent sheen/reflection - think "modern".
