Ah !! ya got me Brad, I was totally expecting you know what, though I did become a bit suspicious seeing the 3 laughing faces on the thread header. Man you got a killer view, much like that I only live 2.5 miles from the Columbia so a beach close by as well. Isn't the PNW great, no where else I'd rather live. not the best in the west but just as much going on inside as out side

an older handmade w/ one end being a melted pigtail & the other barely

showing a bit of faceting, I'd say somewhere from 1850 - 1870 or so.

Almost forgot, 1.095" (just over an inch)

Cool! Makes  me remember back when I was a kid, maybe 18 or so, and I got hired on with a concrete contractor too work during the construction of the King's Bay Naval Submarine Base in King's Bay, Georgia. I'll never forget it 😊

Submarines used to be made in my area ... and then side-launched into Lake Michigan to get to whatever ocean they were supposed to end up in.
