akroorka
Hello Gladys, It seems to me that I have seen Pelt Perless patches close to this color combo. Just sayin--maybe. Marble On and welcome back😁

Ric
The structure does look more like a Peerless patch than Akro, at least to me.

Ric
I don't think a bit of striping or 'swirling' in a Peerless patch is all that uncommon.

Are you speaking of the curve of the patch itself? I was looking at all the curvy lines within the patch (and within the base) ... plus there's that little window between the red and the yellow. Not saying yay or nay -- just seeing if we're talking about the same kind of swirling.

And I am really on the fence about this one - I could see it being an odd Akro too.
akroorka
I found one Gladys, I knew that I saw one of these some place before, I have one. I took shots of the entire separation of colors. It is about a 50-50 fill between the two colors. The only real cutoff is in the bone colored glass, which looks like it was swirled. The colors are a bone yellow and maroon/very dark red. I always thought that this was a Peerless patch. There is a little window in this one as well. Marble—On!!!
Steph
it was made in Zambia with two swirl feeders, putting down a half dollop of yellow and then a half dollop of red, then sending it down the roller. Trust me!
Steph
Now when people do internet searches for Zambian marble makers they'll find this thread and think they have hit paydirt.
akroorka
I do believe that there are marble making companies in West Africa. What country I do not know. Marble--On!!
