Chris Parson
I found this yesterday at a flea market. It’s worn and chipped but the core is amazing with orange, white, dark blue and dark purple. It’s definitively hand made and showing pontil marks at both ends. What do you say? There is a set of four regular photos and then a set of four photos where the marble is submerged in water. The diameter is about 18 mm.
dannyboy
I would say yes to a solid core and a naked (no outer bands) one at that. Nice example. thanks

Chris Parson
Thanks you @dannyboy and @Ric! Where might we be in time? Early 1900's? Naked, solid core swirl... Oh, behave.

Nudo, solido vortice del nucleo... Oh, comportati bene. Between about 1870/80 and 1920. Those made between 1970/80 and 1900 will generally, have rather soft colors, while those built between 1900 and 1920, will have brighter, more charged, bright colors. Here is my German peewee, found this morning at the flea market, measuring 12.50 mm or 0.
I'llhavethat1
Yes to the OP. Too bad about condition, but I probably would have snagged it if the price was right
jameswymer
A Would this be a twisted core?
Alan
It is a Divided core. I can see light between core color bands.
