A German solid core swirl???

Chris Parson

Recommended Posts

I found this yesterday at a flea market. It’s worn and chipped but the core is amazing with orange, white, dark blue and dark purple. It’s definitively hand made and showing pontil marks at both ends. What do you say? There is a set of four regular photos and then a set of four photos where the marble is submerged in water. The diameter is about 18 mm.

grazie@dannyboy e@Ric! Dove potremmo essere in tempo? Primi del 1900?
Nudo, solido vortice del nucleo... Oh, comportati bene. B)

Between about 1870/80 and 1920.

Those made between 1970/80 and 1900 will generally, have rather soft colors, while those built between 1900 and 1920, will have brighter, more charged, bright colors.

Here is my German peewee, found this morning at the flea market, measuring 12.50 mm or 0.492
