Hi, im brand new here; ive got a handfull of marbles ive had for years that im trying to identify the artists to…one is a Jody Fine, but four other beautiful ones, i dont know. Where do they sign them? Could i see it thru a jewelers loop? Thanks to anyone reading, any feedback is appreciated.

They usually sign them on one of the poles, usually just initials. Some, like Steve Maslach, don`t sign their marbles. In your top picture the latticino swirl could be either Jody Fine or Steve Maslach, but leaning to Fine. The black & white one next to it has some resemblance to a Doug Ferguson one I have, but i don`t know for sure. Mine is called "Zebra Bubbles," and obviously has bubbles, placed at regular intervals. At some point our specialist in contemporary marbles, Alan, will stop by. He`ll know - and if he doesn`t, then nobody will!

"Welcome to Marble Connection Beth"   :wave2:

Nice bunch of mibs you have there, glad to have ya here on the boards.  Yes, the I.D. marks (initials) for those should be @ or near the poles if they have any. As Ann said @Alan would probably be your best bet on finding out the maker.  Many years of combined marble and marble related knowledge here. If you have a specific query you'd like to pursue there is a search bar in the upper right hand corner. Stephs Study Hall  https://marbleconnection.com/forum/20-stephs-study-hall/   is a great p[lace, our pictorial and commentary archives. Have fun whatever you do. Wish I could help ya out on the contemp. I.D.'s but my knowledge of those is very limited.

I can't add much to the prior discussion.  The raked black/green (T/R) is fairly consistent with Ferguson, but there are always artists that copy good designs, so..................

(Unfortunately, I have chosen to remove this content due to unchecked behaviors by others on this board.  I will not insult or attack members, and I'll accept nothing less from them (or moderators). My apologies to those who will not benefit from it in the future.)
