It has a pretty clean 9 in the first view but when I look for the cutline on the other end, I see such random-looking swirling that I'm a bit surprised by it. Are you able to pinpoint where the cutline is? The bottom right is distinctly swirly. The two on the left are telling me I need to get a refresher on slag versus swirl. It does seem like there are some marbles that are right on the line of being a slag or a swirl. lol I'm horrible with swirls and finding cut lines but I'll take a closer look when I get home. Posted April 11, 2023 Report Share Posted April 11, 2023 Akro, along w/ the other early hand gathered slags almost all had a 9 pattern and weare indistinguishable from many of the other early producers, they look very similar since they were made in exactly the same manner. MFC is a little more prominent 9 pattern and the glass itself is somewhat different.
