First let me start off, i had no idea the sub community for these things even existed. However here we are. Any way. My story starts with my great grandmother whos husband died in the early 1900s flu pandemic working at us steel. She supported her family with a single copper wash tub. They immigrated here from Hungary. My grandfather grew up on the southside of Pittsburgh in the 1900's and of all things brough his cherished marbles. My grandfather is the little boy riding the handmade cart in the photo below next to his sisters. I also have his favorite brown shooter marble. I have over 270 marbles in all.
