Rairai78
Have this odd looking 7/8" marble with swirl pattern. It has a deep curved indentation on it. Any ideas of maker?

akroorka
Hello Rairai78, The big fold mark in your marble happened when the glass glob was cut and dropped onto the rollers. Either the glass was not hot enough or the rollers were not heated up yet, probably at the start of a run. The glass was not able to be properly formed into a sphere. Larger marbles such as yours seen to suffer more from this dilemma. I posted a link to a machine making marbles below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAeLT-9Bq6Q Marble—On!! 1
Ric
It almost looks like some kind of a bizarre double ingot of two different types of marbles - weird, for sure.
