Chrissie?

I'm a bit hesitant to list orange and red swirl marbles that have turned out to be a WV swirl.

To me this mib has characteristics of a Chrissie. What do you think?

FWIW, I'm not getting a CAC vibe, but it doesn't look Alley to me either so . . .? Maybe Champion?

What would give you a CAC vibe? What am I missing?

Color just doesn't look right to me and that sort of "slit" in some of the ribbons (where the base shows through) would be odd for CAC too, I think.

And then there's that sort of transparent/translucent brownish-looking glass too . . .

I agree. I looked at joemarbles and the color definitely is not a match.

Like Ric, I don't see any CAC traits, what Characteristics are you seeing that are Chrissy?

Lol yeah, I see what you mean but those are more just folds in the glass. Which is what a turkey head is too, but they usually have more of a turkey head shape than a simple loop.

Yep. It boggles the mind to think of how much this particular marble was rolled around.

I'd been thinking on this marble and had come to the conclusion that it almost has to be Alley, and then I saw this in a photo of one of Ron's Alley cases - check out the loops . . .

Sorry it's a poor image - I snipped it from an enlarged photo of the marbles taken through glass and this one just happened to be in a bad spot.

I think your marble is just one of those odd Alley types that just doesn't look all that Alley. 🙂

It may just be a great Champion---or not.

It appears to be out of round--is it?
