Yasuda scores!

So Christensen American Agates can't have a pinch on one pole? I've been looking at my red / white swirls and some of them have a Yasuda looking pinch. 

I think I have more sorting to do.

If I find a pinch pontil marble, I kind of assume it's Japanese since I've heard CAC handgathered transitionals were only produced for a very short period. In contrast, I heard Aiko say Yasuda produced pinch pontil marbles from 1933 to 1939.

Nothing like Yasudas. The AA has a nicer finish the Yasudas also look like wrinkled fingers. 2 look a likes if you can see the seam in the Yasuda it's tough to photograph

This guy's funny, I looked very closely all over the marble, but I couldn't see any pontil at all. Was the pinch/crease line smoothed out in the marble making process?

You could be very right. It might  be a japan machine made as well.i have some fiquire 8s early that have the same glass quality. 

I'm just specalting of course .
