Beat up handmade Germans - Caution: Disturbing Images

I think I mentioned somewhere recently that I had a big marble someplace that looked like it was used for a baseball and I would look for it.

Found three actually, I'd like to throw them in a rock tumbler for a month or two and see what they come out like. They of course, are total losses except for entries in the most ugly marbles contest. Makes my eyes get a  little watery and I pout a bit.

No rock tumbler...they are keepers regardless. Besides, the rock tumbler will make matters worse. You would not like the results. Some folks polish these, by someone who knows what they are doing.

But me, I would keep them "as is"

 A rock tumbler would be no improvement.  Possibly worse.
