I am not in connection with Blocks auctions and I hate that you mention that here.

I do not want to get in a pissing match with anyone especially when you mention a respected collector or seller.

I have no comment here and I hope that we stay out of this stuff.

Marble--On!!

Oh I didn’t want you to feel that way, I apologize 100%. I mentioned it because the original marble I posted has similarities to the one on Block listed as a CAC slag, but also what I thought were very obvious differences to the one listed as a CAC slag. I wasn’t asking for an opinion on a Block Marble, simply offering that as a similar one I found.

I will say if that was something that caused offense, then that’s on me. It certainly wasn’t intended and I’ll be more conscious of that going forward. You’ve been such a help for me in the past, the last thing I’m gonna do is come here and disrespect you. I sincerely apologize.

I see 3 white ribbons and 2 seams so I don’t think it’s a slag. My question is. Is it a CAC striped transparent of some sort🍿🔥

RAR

Correct. It's a Christensen Agate Company CAC "red" Striped Transparent Marble

I have one. The other two are also. These are usually small. Mine is .595

@akroorka

You know, I apologized to be respectful. But to be honest, I think it’s incredibly childish that you bring your irritability and drama and passive aggressiveness here when people are just trying to learn and talk about marbles. The simple reality is that I did nothing wrong. I asked about a marble. I think as a general rule, people shouldn’t be on forums if they can’t control their emotions. I don’t care who you are or who you know, I shouldn’t have to deal with your tantrum.

So I will go back to enjoying my hobby in private. Adios 🫡

WOW ! This thread got pissy really quick. I get worked as well but I think everyone who’s responded here needs to take 10 steps backwards and check themselves. There’s no Pelt Flip Flop. No Tail Whip and or twist. I would like to see personal example pics of CAC slags that mirror the OP in question. We all need to remember we are all obsessed with little round balls of glass and none of us are going to the Moon🔥

You know if you'd like to learn and talk about marbles you should try going to a marble show. You will learn alot about marbles and collecting at a marble show ☺️

I certainly appreciate that info. I have been looking into going to shows and I also purchased several books which have been incredibly helpful. I’ve heard from many people that the shows are a great place to learn and meet people so I’m looking forward to that. Thank you again for the advice

I’ve yet to see any Pelt,Akro or MFC slags with 2 visible seams. So! As I said before. Post them if you have any. One last observation that no one mentioned. The second marble is a great example that shows the classic CAC Diaper Fold trait. This trait occurs when both seams meet and get pulled into the Matrix. I consider the CAC Diaper Folds HTF and or VHTF. If I didn’t explain the Diaper Fold correctly. Please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong🔥

You know everyone here is trying so hard to help you identify your marbles, but it can be very hard do on a computer screen. Sometimes just feeling a marble in your hand can make a difference in identifying a marble and as a new collector it is frustrating to learn these subtle details. I remember my first marble show. I was so excited talking to the dealers they were so helpful and there were so many things to see, you should go. But don't forget your friends here☺️

Fair enough. I appreciate you typing the info about CAC’s. That’s amazing information. Sometimes it’s frustrating that there isn’t one definitive book that has all this info in it, but all the guides on sites like these help a ton, and obviously you guys are a blessing. Appreciate the help, as always, and I’m glad we’re all united around our interest. Appreciate you trying to be a voice of reason. Hope you have a good night
