The Nickel Guy
I could have sworn I posted this one last night but I can't find it to follow up with these pictures I took a little bit ago. I thought it might be some kind of Police Officer but it totally lacks gray? Does anyone know what it could be named? Thank you!
akroorka
Your last image has me puzzeled--is there some glass missing there above your finger in the center? This would be a bigggg one for a Jabo Classic. I will stick with Jabo Classic here for some reason. A weird one for sure! Nice share! The Nickel Guy
Thank you my observant friends. From a different angle, it appears it has a somewhat clear area over that area apparently. hmmmmm, I noticed that after the picture taking too. Picture with arrows pointing to area. I do not think it is a Jabo because of it's size. Did Jabo make big marbles this size? If so, I would be quite happy either way. It would be my largest Jabo for sure but I am leaning Mega Marbles freak for now. It is smooth and round without any creases really, well, I just don't know.
akroorka
Well, I still do not see Vacor here my marble collecting freind. @Melissa may have some input here @Mojo as well. @Nantucketdink knows Jabo like no other that I know of. I respect the opinions of all of them and the rest of us here at "TheMarbleConnection". This is a tuff one to ID---- for me at the very least. The Nickel Guy
Thanks again folks. For what Google is worth, I looked for keywords Largest Jabo Marble and it said that the biggest is 1 inch on one place it gave me. I tend to agree. To quote: "Jabo marbles are produced in various sizes, with the 1-inch (1") marble being the largest standard size offered by Jabo, Inc. These larger marbles are often featured in special runs, such as the Spring and Fall Classic series, and are highly sought after by collectors. For example, a notable 1" run was produced on December 9, 2005, for a How It’s Made episode, which included approximately 103,500 marbles across multiple designs. While Jabo is known for its 5/8", 3/4", and 1" marbles, the 1" size is considered the largest in their regular production lineup and is frequently highlighted in collector communities for its visual impact and rarity in certain patterns and color combinations." I believe that this is a marble that has no named group to belong to and it is a Vacor / Mega Marble oddball. For now it has no name from me but I usually end up giving them a name of my own. I have come to like it more as I handled it several times now and examined it more closely. Sometimes, that's just the way it is.
SequoiaBET
I have about a couple dozen Jabo's that are 1.25 inches. I bought them from Marlow Petterson as "Jumbo Classics". I also have some double ingots from some of the 1 inch runs and those also top out at around 1.25 inches. I think that is as big as Jabo's get, so 1 5/8 is too big for a Jabo. Don't know what it might be.

The Nickel Guy
I am going to call this Super Jumbo Boulder "BIG MP" It looks to have pretty much the same pattern and some of the colors as the "Police Officer" model. Since it's green instead of bluish gray I think it is fitting. Hey, I'm having fun here but I also like to keep a spreadsheet of Mega Marbles, how any I have I have and where they are located in my collection.

RosalieR
Did you look into King Marbles? Chinese company, they look a lot like Vacor and go just as big. https://kingmarbles.com/classic-marbles/ I don’t see this combination but that’s my guess. Vacor is much better documented… I have one I thought was Vacor but it was just off of Fiesta colors - green instead of the blue ribbon. The ribbons also had more pointy angles rather than squared off. Finally found a king marbles photo that matched. this page also talks about Chinese marbles https://www.marblecollecting.com/marble-reference/online-marble-id-guide/foreign-manufacturers/ 1

RosalieR
Not MK - KM — Chinese company not the American company first time I heard of them was when I was looking for an ID for the exact same marble as you will see at the top of this thread:
