It’s interesting that it almost looks matte. Based off the color combination, my instinct says JABO/DAS. Let’s see what the pros think 🤔

Actually it looks frosted or like a river find. Maybe it was tumbled? I also thought it might be a Hurricane but there are several streams of glass bundled together rather than an opaque base with ribbons over it.

Yep X2--a pretty nice one.

Some of Vacors "Frosted Marbles" were not marketed in the USA--Is this one of them??

Lets call in @Mojo he has close ties with @Andy McLaughlin from Alaska, who wrote the book on Vacors.

Andy is very busy in the wild, Fishing Hunting and--well collecting Vacor and other marbles.--Maybe Mojo has some thoughts here.

That’s what I get for not studying those vacors! Lol. Still a really cool marble. I learn something new on here everyday!

I do remember one thing someone had told me (a while ago that has stuck in my mind) is that it's an "African" of some make, which I don't recall. I looked up Vacor Hurricane on images searches and I did find one that was on eBay (but no longer available to view).

lol, I don't really know, its  just something someone had mentioned about this marble (years ago) that stuck in my head.

Maybe it was sold in Africa--just made in Mexico.

I have little doubt that there are some folks making marbles in Africa some place--just for us in the USA at least-------

Flicker has a good memory. There were Hurricanes that were packaged for Europe with the name Africa on the header. Here are two pics of the Don Juan bag (Netherlands) and a very rare Mega bag with the Africa name that "slipped through" the Guadalajara "checkpoint" that Pete was able to get prior to the 2003 time frame when I bought it from him.

Just as an after-tought with no proof.

I have always tought that Vacor "Frosted" marbles rather than put them out to pasture.( no proof)

This may be one of those.

The "Frosted" ones always seem to be very nice when coverage is considered and it makes sense to do so--money wise for them.

These are just my weird toughts as a collector--who sometimes thinks too much about this weird thing that makes us collect toy marbles😁.

I collect and I do my do diligence.--I  may just be mental with marbles.

I just suck at WVS ID🤢--the rest, well, I get them get pretty well.

No marbles suck imho--some are just a tad or so better ( yep sometimes much better--but that is what we do here--try to get to the next level).

Collect what you like and keep on collecting.

If you are into the money--just stick around for awhile--you never know do you?

Are there any out there willing to trade for Bennies--probably not but they are just a thing that you want to keep for some reason (the Chickadee of all marbles).

I just love them all--Anything Round!!!
