These Jabo "Boxed sets" are very collectable.

I am not a collector of these but plenty of Marble folks are.

These at least give a good description of the "varients".

@Nantucketdink is an expert at ID on Jabo marbles. He may give some advice here.

Collect what you like with no reservations.

I only had collected Jabos up until about 2004 when the Jabo company stopped doing fall classic runs and began doing ongoing special runs:  

I used to set aside corkscrews and the lawn chair marbles that had the metallic in them and the eggs were fun to find

These were the ones that had the metallic in them …rumor had it that they had thrown a lawn chair into the kiln with the hot glass and this is what arrived …. But that was just a rumor.  Even so these were extremely rare

The lawn chair is not a rumor. The garden chair was actually torn to pieces and thrown into the furnace in the furnace  , in Jabo, by Ron Shepherd and Dave McCullough (RIP), even if not these yours.

They were made with transparent green industrial glass, and they had a bluish effect

So the ones I am showing were opaque blue and white with a transparent swirl of reddish brown ….maybe some of the lawn chair came through in a later run ? Not sure 🤔   Oh that couldn’t be …your pic shows 2009 …. I was not purchasing any runs from Jabo in 2009 ….hmmmm 

 

I know Jabo used a lot of recycled glasss for their runs… maybe a bottle top got in this run or some other metallic and made these metallic streaks ….

I had this pink one from Jabo too that had glitters of metallic in it…one of kind

Well, they probably did several, so to speak, experiments with some kind of metal, and yours, like surely many others, will certainly be the result of these trials
