coolbrezz
It measures at 5/8. It sounds like all the discriptions I have read. It looks like some of the pictures I have seen. But I still need some of the Pelt experts to tell me for sure! What do you think? Sub or not. In great shape expect for the blow hole! Darn it! kris7047th
There was a thread pertaining to a Peltier sub awhile back. As I recall, the colors look right with the one that you have posted. This one could be one. Hope so! Kris
coolbrezz
Kris I have had this for a few weeks. And have been trying to ID it for sure through books web sites and ebay. Before I posted it here. It fits all so far! But I still question myself. I sure will make me feel good if I am right! Here is the best part,. I found it in a bucket of marbles at a little antique store on a business trip. Sign said 3 for $1.00. Here are the other two I picked.
mibcapper
not an expert here cool ... the colors look right on .. but, i believe there has to be transparency in the base. bill
coolbrezz
Bill there is trasparent in the base! I will try to take a better picture outside to see if I can capture it! Give me a few minutes!

Homes454
The colors look very similar, but doesn't the glass have to actually "sub-marine", like dive under somewhere.....I do not know, but seems that I heard that somewhere....here are the pics i have from on the web....pax Jon

VTAndrea
That's a sub-- and I think these tend to have the blow holes for some reason. Cool marble, isn't it? Here's mine:
I'llhavethat1
So is it the striking color combo or the glass characteristics that makes them considered "submarine-ish"
Alan
Is the definition of a "submarine" softening? To me all submarines have had a transparent matrix through which a second color distinctly "submarines" into. I don't see a transparent matrix in the pictured pieces.
