  1. Missed you at Sistersville. Sonny was there with his grandson Josh.
  2. We had quite a bit of oxblood this time. I like it too.
  3. Steph, I loaded these 3 again on my photo host and they worked. Must have an error in the first time I tried to load.
  4. Joseph's keeper boxes Joseph's keeper boxes
  5. The top of the box. This is Sammy Hogue's Tin Lizzie. Joseph is in the front seat and Ron Shepherd's two grand daughters are in the back. The kids are not recognizable.
  6. I had time to fill 2 boxes for me to keep and 2 for Joseph to keep. They are mostly the same. My keeper boxes . I haven't boxed up any lutz, frit, or mica yet except where I had not sorted it out of the mix.
  7. Steph, I don't know what's wrong. I have 2 photos that won't post repeatedly.
  8. I've had time to sort one box and take some pics. I'm going to add mine to Ant's post. Take me a few minutes to edit and upload them to a host.
  9. Didn't know we used anything but lutz mist, lutz frit, and lutz ribbon. Sorry about that.
  10. Lots of brightly colored marbles, all made by Dave McCullough today. Pretty reds! Good time today making marbles. We used a lot of lutz, but these are marbles pulled off the rollers to show tonight and I didn't pull any with lutz. We did not use colored frit or colorized mica today.
  11. Here are a few of the marbles made today at Sammy's Mountain Marbles. Sammy has decided to stop making investor marbles for groups. He may in the future continue to make machine made marbles and market them himself. David McCullough will continue to make marbles with the marble Buddies and all of us should look for changes in the future. The marbles I am showing are just a few of the families made today. We used a lot of lutz and some will be posted when we've had time to arrive home and rest up. I like the turquoise marble near the bottom.
  12. The mica he uses is not crystalline, more of a powdery substance and yes it does melt.
  13. Blue lutz egg Sammy checking the marbles in the tray Richard McKnight, machine operator
