I zoomed in, some of the yellow latticinos cores I've had/ have all mesh together, looking like solid cores,it's hard to tell, value wise not much difference but just great looking. I really love Akro but there is something about handmades that I just love.

Only 71 lots this time around... From Les Jones collection, never seen this box before. Another from Les Jones collection, at least that's what they claim.. who knows if its true or not. Losing Les Jones was a huge blow to marble collecting. I still cant believe it.

Charles Williams made this box, I don't know the type of wood Most of these are 3/4 the green florescent 3/4 are probably the hardest to find.

good catch lutzy.. that is a net within a net. just over 2 inches. The English color set came from Europe. 7/8 marbles. a couple with Black here are some different colors some 11/16 different colors than we normally see. more different colors in smaller size 3 set of same cane 7/8 Same cane 7/8 set Bad pic but 2 smaller same cane have tons of mica

I would throttle way back on that incomplete box..200-300? The other box looks fairly complete with tri colors..a box in mint condition with all mint 2 colors went for 800 so tri colors more if they are mint. I would pass If marbles and box are not mint or close to it. Just my opinion.

600-800 would be my best guess.. Nice find

I missed this one on ebay, does not look too old, maybe 50's ?
