Why not issue another run? It’s currently selling for almost 10 times the. Original price. Print a thousand copies and sell at $30. are the authors really trying to educate the hobby or just plain greedy?

Hit the local antique show last weekend. found 8 small bags, plus 7 very collectible old straight razors. Bags were older ziplock type, total price of $36. There were stickers under the paper labels, total price of ~$240. keepers are in the bowl.

I’ve got maybe 6 silver fruit knives, some with pearl handles, other have silver handles. I think one is Gorham. I collect knives as well.

Stash of 16 glass fruit knives, plus a glass fork. quite the variety, several have etched monograms. never seen a glass fork before.

It is a tough topic to deal with. I too am downsizing. I’m selling some commons at a local antique mall, doing well. The higher end mibs are a quandary for me. Not looking for profit but getting them into the hands of collectors who appreciate them. Not looking for flippers who want to make a profit reselling. i’m selling off my Blenko collection, as well as my civil war and hard times tokens, and military knives.
