  1. Hit the local antique show last weekend. found 8 small bags, plus 7 very collectible old straight razors. Bags were older ziplock type, total price of $36. There were stickers under the paper labels, total price of ~$240. keepers are in the bowl.
  2. Agree pre-Jabo. the blue is not typical MK… maybe foreign?
  3. The pics don’t do justice to the extent of pink, and the faint green is really blue interior. thinking MK but…🤔
  4. These have been in my collection for years, starting to sell locally.
  5. I’ve got maybe 6 silver fruit knives, some with pearl handles, other have silver handles. I think one is Gorham. I collect knives as well.
  6. Stash of 16 glass fruit knives, plus a glass fork. quite the variety, several have etched monograms. never seen a glass fork before.

  8. It is a tough topic to deal with. I too am downsizing. I’m selling some commons at a local antique mall, doing well. The higher end mibs are a quandary for me. Not looking for profit but getting them into the hands of collectors who appreciate them. Not looking for flippers who want to make a profit reselling. i’m selling off my Blenko collection, as well as my civil war and hard times tokens, and military knives.
  9. Where’s the 1/2-cent, large cent, 2-cent, and 20-cent?
  10. Many of us older collectors have 1,000’s of mibs sitting in boxes and jars that need to see daylight to budding collectors. sign up and enjoy the experience!
  11. I forgot to add straight razors.
  12. “I have your lost marbles”
  13. Made a big pot of Turkey and rice soup today. Cooked the Turkey carcass and added 6 cups of rice. I added hatch green Chile to my bowl.
  14. I’ve got a sample from a mine in New Mexico. Will dig it out and take pictures.
  15. My wierdest job paid the best. For the last 17 years I have audited commercial properties for energy efficiency. I found countless cases where there were design/construction deficiencies the no one ever exposed due to liability issues. I exposed them and subsequently, and typically got fired for doing so. Talking millions in liabilities. I have finally said screw it and retired. I have never been happier to get out of the industry.
