  1. @Melissa Although you should know that Melon Balls are actually old German handmade marbles with pontils. Here are some Bumblebee posted several years ago . . .
  2. It's original - that double folded seam on the bag is usually a pretty good indicator.

    Two 4ID

My first impression is Akro or Vitro but it would be helpful to see straight-on shots of both seams and some of whats going on in the interior, if anything.
  4. I don't know of any marble collecting pamphlets geared toward children but House of Marbles sells an inexpensive pamphlet that includes a little info but is mostly about playing. I used to give it and some marbles to Cubscouts when I did presentations and taught them how to play so they could earn their marbles belt loop. Unfortunately, the loop is no longer awarded.
  5. It looks like there is a little bit of everything - most vintage as far as I can tell, but the photo is very small and the resolution too low to get a very good look at them.
  6. That's a beautiful figure and an awesome agate, did she come carrying it?
  7. I used to talk with her too and was lucky enough to meet her a couple of times - a pretty special person IMO.
  8. I really like the opaque caramel patch on this one - a little unusual, at least to me.
  9. They're all nice, Tommy, but this one is my favorite - it's a little different.
  10. Jumpin' Jimminy, Joe - that's a sweet one!
  11. There are a few in here - the mint green ones are pretty . . . Fairly common in transparent too . . .

    4 alley?

The upper left may not be Alley but the others look it to me.
  13. JABO or Champion are my guesses - leaning JABO on the right and Champion on the lower left.

    Vitro?

Vitro upper left and perhaps the upper right too. I think the lower right is Akro and the lower left is MK.
  15. These look like Moss Agates, although the top right one is a little atypical. Akro and Master made lots of this type.
  16. Pelt would be my guess too.
  17. As far as I can tell, these are game marbles. They have little if any value to most collectors. The left one does look like it might be MK but it's hard to see any detail on the right one so . . .?
  18. I'm leaning more toward Master on the first one and the second looks like a MK to me.
  19. I think there are examples in the Alley Agate salesman's case that @wvrons owns.
