It's unusual regardless of what it is but I am thinking Peltier or Vitro. A straight on shot of the seam in photo two might be helpful.
-
I'll make it 3 for a Peltier Rainbo. There is no possibility this is a German striped transparent, IMO.
-
That's a pretty blue color on a machine made anomaly, IMO.
-
I agree with DInk - an Akro but not a Popeye Patch, IMO.
-
The top and bottom one in the column of four might be Peltier. Most of the others are probably Akro. You're only showing two views of a few of them so it's harder than it might otherwise be to tell.
-
Yup, to a Popeye Patch.
-
Akro is most likely, IMO.
-
JABO Classic, I think.
-
I agree with Akro.
-
It's got a bit of a crease in it, which is messing with the seams a bit but I'm leaning Akro - maybe one of the Hero varieties.
-
I'd expect an additional color for a hybrid, Joe. I think that one is supposed to have a green top patch with 1/2 yellow and 1/2 orange equatorial ribbons - it's just messy.
-
Totally understandable - Tiger Eyes tend to have a lot of variation and you've got a few oddballs, which really complicates things. Marble-making was certainly not a precision process. ๐
-
If the base is opaque white, the center one may be a weak Baby Parrot (4 colors) and the right a weak Parakeet (3 colors) - both "weak" because of the amount of white showing.
-
The left one is a Tiger Eye variant like that other odd one you posted - either a Type I or Type II depending on how you look at it. The right on is an Akro patch.
-
If the base is opaque, the first is probably an All Red. The second looks like a messy type I Tiger Eye.
-
Just variations - the first is a pretty typical Type I, the second is a Type II, and the third is a hybrid Type I or II, depending on how you want to slice it . . . it's either a Type I with equatorial ribbons of the same color or a Type II with a white patch. My guess is it should have been a Type I with a purple top patch, a white bottom patch and 1/2 blue, 1/2 green equatorial ribbon, but yeah, it's messed up. ๐

They appear to be Tiger Eye variants. Are the 2nd & 3rd veneered color on a clear transparent base?

I'm thinking German - Technische Glaswerke Ilmenau.
-
My first thought is JABO.
-
Not much to go on with this marble - it's a nondescript WV swirl.
-
Yes, a Vitro Conqueror.
-
When I looked at it this morning, my first thought was, "Is this perhaps one of the nicest Roosters I have ever seen?" I don't think it's a JABO. ๐

The "Score!" thread. Post your exciting finds here...

Nice find, Joep - complete to, if I counted right. Now you can look for dividers. ๐
