I'm leaning Champion, but these simple white based swirls can be real buggers.
-
It's a Peltier Rainbo.
-
Your Type I has a colored patch on the top, a white patch on the bottom, and two different colored seam-to-seam ribbons on the equator. Type II has two of the same color ribbons around the equator and colors (no white) on the poles.

I agree with Fire, a Type I Tiger Eye.
-
I don't think it's an American marble.
-
This one looks more like a JABO to me.
-
If it's a knowledgeable and reputable seller, I can't imagine what reason they would have to deceive you.
-
I'd have it with my Ravenswoods.
-
When it comes to these types of marbles, the only thing about them I can identify is that they are not vintage. 😄 Hopefully, others here will be able to help you.

These things can be pretty hard to pin down unless you have some prior knowledge or known examples to work from. Do you know that it's one of Dave's Appalachian Swirls or could it be from one of the JABO contract runs?

I imagine there are at least a few collectors who would love to own those things, myself included. But it would probably be best if they were in a permanent collection on public display where more people could see and appreciate them. I would start by contacting the Smithsonian Museum of American History. If they are not interested, perhaps the Wildwood Historical Museum, in Wildwood, NJ (where the National Marble Tournament is held) might be interested.

No need to be sorry. It does look like there might be a little bit of clear streaking in the white base. But if the base itself was transparent it would be more obvious - you would likely see it looking like clear lines between the patches and ribbons, and backlighting would surely tell the tale.
-
You're confusing me. This marble has an opaque base and so do Type IV Tiger Eyes and All Reds, including this one.
-
Yes, a crazy splotchy one too - pretty cool.
-
If it was a Tiger Eye it would be a Type IV - Type III are veneered on a transparent base. But FWIW, I think it's a new style All Red and not a Tiger Eye - the red is just more orange on this one.

Is That a Bleed Through or a Tracer?

Couple of good marbles there - Superman variants. I think the dark is just some discoloration in the mix, not intentional. Akro probably would have called them Specials. -
It's in the B&B neighborhood, I think.
-
I agree with Fire.

It looks like an Akro Carnelian to me.
