Those are great bags! I think Jack Pressman (Uncle Jack?) was one of the first to market Japanese marbles in America. His push for profit was at least partially responsible for the downfall of the American toy glass marble industry.

It's an Alley, not so unusual with brown on that milky gray base.

The "Score!" thread. Post your exciting finds here...

That's a good find. Those tops and bases were made by Andy Davis (RIP) from cullet - meaning chunks of scrap glass from the run. He took the chunks to his shop remelted them and molded tops and bases. My son Jake (RIP) used to love to run into Andy at the shows when he was young because Andy would always pull a top out of his pocket and give it to him. He was definitely one of the good guys. 🙂 -
I agree with foreign - a K&M would most likely have at least a little white showing, and there is nothing about the structure or colors that looks Pelt to me.
-
It looks like an old laboratory acid bath or something.
-
I agree, but if that marble is mint, I'm a Zulu King.
-
I agree - you're doing good with the IDs today!
-
Yes, an older one IMO.
-
I wouldn't have it with my Alleys - maybe Heaton, maybe JABO, IMO.
-
Yes, a PPP with a base that looks like it might react to UV.
-
They sure look like MKs to me.
-
I'm with Melissa - they don't look like Cosmic Rainbows or Painted Turtles to me, but I wouldn't rule out MK without a few more photos. It's obvious they are all the same though, so detail photos of one or two of them would probably work.

@marblemanvintagemarbles Be sure to check for AV in the green. It shows up in those occasionally and this one looks like a good candidate.
-
@Tommy It does look better with the bag, for sure. Myself, I think it may have been some kids favorite cricket box - probably took it fishing. lol
-
You said it was Kokomo earlier, and I agree.
-
I think it's an Akro slag too - just way more than its fair share of white.
-
@marblemanvintagemarbles Ha, at first glance I thought it might be a Vitro yellow jacket but then I realized it's only a two color marble - a common Alley (second marble too). What's up with the red halo around the edges of your photos - you're throwing me off kilter. lol

That's a Type IV Tiger Eye.

I'm seeing JABO.
-
It's a helmet variant.
-
I'm seeing a Lazy Akro Corkscrew.
