  1. This 7/8" is at the higher end of "Flicker", maybe.
  2. I do like that base glass. Bill gave me a big "Pink Champagne" sort of "Moonie-ish" Peltier once, I'll have to post it sometime - very distinctively Peltier. I've never seen anything quite like it.
  3. I'm thinking this is Akro - look at that beautiful "boiling water" base glass!
  4. I'd say the first is an exceptionally nice Peltier Rainbo and the second is a Peltier Multicolor Swirl, and then you stuck that nice Conqueror from your other post in at the end. 🙂
  5. I think the first is a nice Peltier Multicolor Rainbo and the second is a nice Vitro Conqueror variant.
  6. Peach colored Helmets are a little harder to find . . .
  7. @Mojo You may be right, it wouldn't surprise me if Glassfirma sold marbles through Alibaba.

    Rainbo?

I'm not sure what it is but all the striping is on one side of the marble so I don't think it's a Pelt - more like an odd patch that goes 3/4 of the way around the marble opposite the "pinched" seams. It reminds me most of a JABO Classic but it might be an unusual Akro, an even odder Vitro, or maybe even a foreign marble of some sort. Sorry - not much help from me on this one.
  9. They do look like a pinkish orange now that you mention it . . .
  10. Isn't a Blueblood one with the oxblood under blue? You know I'm just goofing with you now, Boris . . . 🙂

Got it, thanks, as usual, Chad!
  13. What about Ravenswood?
  14. Hmmm . . . wild, maybe a dug MK? Maybe an even crazier Heaton?
  15. Wouldn't that be a Superboy - basically, a Superman sans yellow?
  16. Thanks for the link - an interesting read, indeed.
  17. FWIW, I'm not so sure the photos in those pics, even those from Alan, aren't a little over exposed and making the oxblood look lighter than it would it hand.
  18. Thanks Art, I love that Vitro lavender color - it's very distinct, so I just thought I'd show it on a few different types.
  19. I've seen plenty of oxblood and I know for sure that the OP marble is not oxblood. Do you have a good example on a marble? If not, PM your address and I'll send you some.
  20. I think that Glass Firma may produce marbles in several locations other than Mexico. It seems like I recall some facilities in SE Asia somewhere. As for the marbles I posted as "Chinese", I have to admit that I don't really know that for sure, all I really know is that I spotted them on Alibaba, and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if Alibaba sells wares from countries other than just China.

I'd call that last one a Skunk.
  22. I think lighting might have a lot to do with the way that oxblood looks, either that, or it's just a poor example of oxblood.
