  1. @disco005 Super nice tight spiral on that yellow auger!
  2. It doesn't look Master to me - foreign is my guess. And there are some really odd reflections coming off of whatever you had it sitting on that are really messing with the detail on the lower half of the marble, regardless of which photo you look at.
  3. This is just like that marble you posted the other day. I thought then, and I do again, that this is not an American marble.
  4. Vitro, but not a Superior - they have those red ribbons surrounding a yellow patch.
  5. I know I have one of these somewhere - I'll have to look to see how I identified it. Might be Vitro, but the colors would be pretty unusual, I think. It's really an interesting marble.
  6. The only other reasonable possibility I can come up with is that it is an unusually poorly constructed CAC striped transparent, probably dug - I could see it, I suppose.
  7. I'm all in with JABO at this point.
  8. I guess you're just looking for some discussion . . . ? AFAIK, What people call a Panda today would be better described as a Blue Panda, since they have white stripes on an opaque or translucent blue base. Some old NLR marbles that had white stripes on an opaque Black base were also referred to as Pandas. Skunks also have white stripes on a "black" base but they are later Rainbos (not NLRs). Zebras, on the other hand, are NLRs that have black stripes on a white base (and they often have aventurine). Your bottom marble in your first pic may well be a Blue Panda.
  9. AFAIK, Peltier Dragons, flaming or not, are on a green base, so I don't think this marble is a Dragon of any sort. I do agree it's a nice marble though. 🙂
  10. I definitely thought about JABO for this one too and it certainly could be - it would just be one that I don't recognize, but I surely haven't seen them all.
  11. I understand and appreciate your interest, Aiko. 🙂

I agree - I think of it as dense. The level of bleeding in your second photo is pretty unusual for CAC, I think.

    JABO?

That is a Vitro Conqueror. Backlight it and you should be able to see that it is veneered colors (white included) on a transparent base.
  14. It's a pretty one - but I'm really on the Vitro/Akro line with this one, leaning slightly toward Akro.

    Whatcha looking for buddy?
  16. Pretty bright color for a Japanese game marble too - their colors are usually kind of drab.
  17. I've seen some 9-vane Asian ones too.

Pretty marble but a tough one . . . I'm leaning slightly Ravenswood over Alley.

    Looks mostly Champion to me.

It's a little different but I think Alley is a good possibility.

    Probably Alley, IMO.
  22. That's a good black, I'm leaning Alley.

    I'm thinking Alley.

Alox is my first thought but it could be one of a few different company's, IMO.
  25. Probably Alley.
