  1. I do not think that is an American marble.
  2. It's hard to make out detail but I'm thinking it's a Master.
  3. @schmoozer Nice find, Brad! I think some people refer to the spotty ones as "end of days" - I'm not crazy about it. And I'd probably refer to it as paneled rather than lobed.
  4. I like the rich colors too - some folks refer to this specific combination as "Pepsis".
  5. The fact that the header, bag and tag are in excellent condition and that Cub Scouts are less common than Bumble Bees may have something to do with it. In general, I think the Rainows have more value than the Cat's Eyes or purees, but sometimes in does depend on the mix of marbles in the bag.

    Ravenswood?

    I'm thinking maybe Champion.
  7. I think it's probably Akro, like Art said.
  8. It's a slag - looks sorta Peltier to me.

    Jabo?

Maybe JABO but it looks more like a Vacor to me.
  10. I think that is an MFC slag.
  11. That one looks more like a JABO Classic to me.
  12. It's hard to see the cut lines but it looks like a Master to me.
  13. I think it's Vacor - Wicked Owl, maybe.
  14. It wouldn't really surprise me, it seems like the blue ones are usually where the oxblood turns up, but it's really hard to tell for sure from here.
  15. Here is a good place to start, if you haven't already seen it.
  16. @VaMarbles That's a crazy cool one - what size is it?

    Green Alley?

Almost every WVS company did green on white and the shades can vary quite a bit even within a particular company. There are so many white based swirls out there that you often have to look at structure and pattern to tell one company's from another's, and in some cases it's just not possible to say for sure who made a particular marble.
  18. Here's the original thread just in case anyone wants to catch up . . .
  19. I just want to correct my earlier brain glitch - Seike (Japan) made this creased pontil transitional, not Yasuda.
  20. @shiroaiko Thank you for that - I had gotten my pinches and creases switched around!
  21. Typo, Tommy - my bad, some folks call that particular Opal color combo a Cornflower (not coneflower).
  22. Do you have examples of Yasuda's you could show? I thought they made the crease pontils.
  23. Heaton Fawn, I believe.
  24. I agree with Fire, Nice Alley - the little tongue flap is great!
  25. Cool, Art - that might be the nicest Master Glass cat's eye I've seen.
