  1. Yes, marketed as a Moss Agate, I think.
  2. Cat's Eyes - foreign to the US.
  3. That sort of structure is common on Alleys but is not uncommon on Ravenswoods.

    Champion?

It'd be a very strange one - maybe foreign?

    Champion?

Yes, we will need more than one view, and be sure to show any seams or ribbon ends.
  6. Yeah, it's a pretty nice Vitro.
  7. Nice Alley Blue Sky and Vitro - the elephant's pretty great too!
  8. I have not heard them called that before, William. The hand seems pretty svelte for a beggar. Where did you hear that name? It seems like it might have been adapted from the Portieux or Vallerysthal "paupers" or "beggars hand" vases, which look a lot more like a beggar's hand, at least to me.
  9. The marble is out of focus so it's hard to see but it looks like a big melted bubble pop to me - more like a crater than a hole.

    ?

I would say a Vitro with a bit of a twist - nice marble.

    Blue/wht

    I think it's an Alley.

Some of IDing JABOs has to do with the way the glass looks compared to vintage marbles. Another feature on many, but not all, JABOs is what is a sort of C- or U-shaped pattern in the striping glass, like that in your third and fourth pics. You can see more examples of what I am talking about in the marbles at Marble Alan's ID Guide.

I agree. And I think your pics would be a lot better for ID if you put the marbles on a darker, neutral color, non-reflective surface.

    Akro?

    Yes, a patch.

    Akro

    Yes, a corkscrew.

I'd say Alley first and Heaton second. It's pretty beat up and hard to get a good look at the details.
  17. That's a great bunch of old German hand-mades - a great keepsake collection!
  18. Not real common but not rare either.
  19. Yes, a Vitro Tiger Eye.. If it's opaque, it's a Type IV.
  20. My first thought is a Vitro Tiger Eye but it would be helpful to see both seams.
