  1. I think that one may actually be referred to as a "Pink Champaign" but I'd like to see someone else validate that idea since I'm not sure.
  2. I have never seen that kind of drizzle on a slag. I think it's a WVS of some kind too - the cool sloppy drizzle makes it hard to tell whose though, and with just white on/in colored transparent glass the descriptor "slag" fits too.
  3. The colors are there but I don't see the pattern . . . ?
  4. I could easily see modern torch-work, for sure.
  5. Lots of interesting stuff here but no CAC that I spot off-hand.
  6. One thing I notice is all the tiny pricks or blow holes in the white glass pieces - I think that points away from CAC.
  7. Very nice Striped Opaque, Gladys!

    5/8's Alley?

I do have white on green examples from Sistersville but I think they made them at Pennsboro too.
  9. That is a very pretty holiday-themed marble Gladys - there are only a couple of possibilities I can think of for this one and I'm leaning Alley.

    5/8's Alley?

    Yes, Alley - nice one!
  11. Nice additions, Dave - some beautiful glass!
  12. Nice, Tommy, I really like colored transparent glass - the more the better!
  13. The dark patch on this marble is very nice, Gladys - it looks like that pretty blue bled out of the black/purple color, very cool!
  14. This is great stuff, Art - nice job with the pics, the composition is super!
  15. Nice ones, William - the second one is especially interesting!

    ID on this one

Always nice when a name fits!
  17. That's a JABO Classic "Sweet Potato Pie", Bill - I forget the year.
  18. A "Pistachio" variant is my take on it.
  19. As usual, I want seconds . . . 🙂 The best part of this marble is that little bit of Ravenswood history showing under the blue in the top two pics and scattered in much smaller bits throughout the marble. I just picked it up at the Decatur, IL. Pride of the Prairie Marble Show yesterday, for many years now, organized by none other than @Chuck G. Unfortunately, I missed the last two shows. Some of my best marble purchases have come from this show. It tends to be attended by many long time regulars and the amount of marble knowledge represented is remarkable. And there are always great marbles available. If you can make it for room trading tonight or the show tomorrow, I'd highly recommend it.
  20. FWIW, that's how I always think about it. It makes the difference between a "clear base" and an orange transparent, red transparent, yellow transparent base, etc., more "clear". lol
