  1. It's apparetly even more messed up than I thought. lol.
  2. My only hesitation would be that it's some kind of a newer MK that I am not familiar with. That long seam I see in your new pics makes me wonder a bit. Imagine a white patch where the open area is in your last pic and the blue pushed up into ribbons, and you've got an MK patch and ribbon. In fact, I am now thinking it's not Vitro at all - sorry.
  3. How many Vitros do you see that have two same-colored polar patches and two white equatorial ribbons on a transparent base?
  4. Just what I thought, it's very unusual. Now I wonder about MK possibilities.
  5. Why not a twisted All Red with yellow and red patches?
  6. What would you call Gladys' marble, Ron? Two blue patches and two white equatorial ribbons? Here it is:
  7. It seems to be on transparent base-glass, a back-lit pic would confirm that.
  8. A weird Peltier is what I'm thinking.

    Helmets

Yes, I think 7/8" is the biggest I've seen. Although the structure on the larger ones can get a little wobbly compared to the 5/8" mibs.
  10. JABO, Akro and Peltier all made some, as far as I know. And I am pretty sure they have been made in Asia too. It sort of depends on how you define "logo marble".
  11. Cool mibs. The first is an Alley, the second looks like an odd, likely dug, Akro Liberty, and the third is a Vitro All Red with a twist.
  12. Yes, you were, but I think the marble you showed, which is not an Anti-Blackie, may be even more interesting!

    Pelt?

Looks like white over black from here but you'll have to decide. lol. Any AV in the black?

    Pelt?

If it's white on black, it would be a Skunk. What is the base like? Can you get light through it?
  15. Nice Joep, you put a lot of time into those displays!
  16. I don't think this marble got the attention it deserves, Gladys - better late than never, I guess. To me, this looks like a weird Type III Tiger Eye, mainly because it has two same color patches on the poles while most have different colored patches. On the other hand, if you called this marble a clear-based "Anti-Whitie", I would know what you are talking about - clear-based Whities (like the one William just posted) normally have white on the poles and two same-colored ribbons around the equator, and this is the opposite of that, no doubt. 🙂
  17. Unusually bright yellow ones, Gladys, and I really needed a little sun this morning - thanks for providing it!
  18. It's a great Alley, Tommy, and with looks like that, finding one in excellent condition is very difficult.
  19. Prima Agates are sort of Peltier's answer to CAC American Agates. And the black on white one is an Alley Inky.
  20. Jumpin' Jimminy man - get out the sunglasses, that's an amazing marble!
