  1. You definitely found a good one, James!
  2. Manufacturers' QC processes made them rare, no doubt.
  3. Great marble, Chad - way to start the day!
  4. It's a pretty crazy thought but the chocolate covered marbles have me thinking about a candy coating.
  5. Marbles are toys first, and they need to roll straight. I am sure that was and is the most important thing for any manufacturer.
  6. I think purple on Pelts is very uncommon, in general.
  7. Can you clarify this Art? Do you mean 75 augers to one spiral or vice versa?
  8. I found a red one in with my clearies.
  9. As far as I know, MFC bricks are oxblood and it is also found on old German handmades like this one . . .
  10. Here is a good pic Gladys posted that shows oxblood. Once you've seen it in hand, you'll not forget it.

  12. Not oxblood or Akro - maybe Heaton.
  13. They are not rare and most folks would consider it as-made damage.
  14. Go to the search bar (magnifying glass icon) and search "Moody blue", in quotes, or check the HTF and rare marbles page here.
  15. I think a lot of the specks are dirty hit marks.
  16. This is a Rainbo, not a Moody Blue. Moody Blues have a muddy orangish base glass.
