  1. Not sure but . . . it's got Christmas colors. I'm leaning Kokomo . . . seen a Peltier like it?
  2. I think it's a German Corn Husk, Gladys. Sorry, I didn't see the prior responses.
  3. At about 1", my first thought was JABO but . . .
  4. Nice post about some pretty cool and often overlooked marbles. Here's my best attempt to capture the "Fire" . . .
  5. Endless variations . . . all of them cool!
  6. The OP looks foreign to me too. Here are a few more.
  7. Or . . . Kokomo marbles are not exactly known for being pretty. In fact, I think the marble on the left here is probably one of the prettiest types they ever made, at least to me.
  8. I don't pay a lot of attention to most Kokomo IDs unless I already recognize the marble as Kokomo based on personal experience and comparison to known examples. Some Kokomo's and Peltiers are so near identical that I wouldn't even try to sort them. So unless those types are from the ground or original packaging, I default to Peltier just because of statistics. Having said that, there are many Kokomo marbles that can be positively identified. For example . . .
  9. Back in the mid-2000s, there was a digger who occasionally showed up at the marble show in Kokomo Indiana so I have seen plenty of examples of Kokomo Glass. Back then, Ken H. would also bring out bags and boxes of Kokomo marbles, and Chuck B. (RIP) always had plenty of nice ones too. Here are some pics of Chuck's marbles, which he included in an article he published in the WVMCC Newsletter more than a few years ago . . . I am forever grateful to Chuck for sharing his knowledge and collection of Kokomo marbles with me. I was very fortunate to have access to his collection so I could compare marbles I found in the wild to his known examples - it's just one of the many reasons I miss him dearly.
  10. I really like the color of this one . . . a pretty pink!
  11. I have decided to play for a while tonight, while I have the chance. And thank you to everyone for the kind thoughts! Here's one with a few twists . .
  12. I've missed this place, and many of the people in it! But I've been preoccupied with a family medical situation for the past few months (my soon to be 94 year-old Mother). Things are a bit calmer at the moment but you probably won't see me around much for a while longer. In the meantime, I hope you all have great holidays!
  13. It's certainly made by Champion at the same time as the Hot Wheels, but it might be what some people would call a Pumkin or a Flame. You can find some recent discussion here
  14. I can't remember if it was Jr. Ice's marble or if he was the guy she tried to sell it to, but I do remember that Jr. was involved. I think I sold Jr. a big overstuffed 4-color St. Mary's Cat's Eye at that show.
  15. NP, Brad, I got a pretty nice brown Alley flame for my touble. lol I've got 335K miles on that Pilot now too!
  16. It was always such a fun time. And the Belleville Inn made it even better!
  17. The first looks like a modern polished stone sphere. The 2nd is an MK Bumble Bee, 3rd is a Peltier Rainbo and the 4th looks like a very nice Vitro Helmet.
  18. This is great, Al. Thank you very much for saving the pic and posting it!
  19. Maybe it's just an Indiana thing, but Charlie Stutsman sold a lot of marbles, far and wide, in the 1990s. I thought he would have been better known.
