  1. I think they're nice Master marbles too - colors are too muted for Akro, IMO.
  2. Nice shooter! I think it's Master too.
  3. I've never seen a marble that took a video to ID. I don't think either of these is hand-gathered but then I can't watch the videos . . . I think they're just too big, and I'm tired of watching the lag-wheel spin.
  4. @Joe2 @akroorka Thanks guys, I am glad you appreciate them. I was very fortunate with this find. There are quite a few nice Masters in the collection. These are 11/16" to 3/4" . . . I was really surprised to see the green UV glow coming out on some of them.
  5. Just some examples of players from the box . . . They're pretty simple marbles but the colors are very nice.
  6. Sure looks like a Kokomo to me Charlie - nice lipstick red!
  7. Thanks Guys! Given your comments, I am thinking it probably is rare. @Fire1981 @Tommy @Alan Thank you! Maybe my luck is changing. 🤞
  8. I really like the 360 degree coverage on this Sunburst . . .
  9. A few from the collection with the Master Marble box . . . . The largest is 3/4" and the rest are 11/16". The glow surprised me. Sorry the pic is not the greatest.
  10. Does it look veneered over clear or more like solid translucent?
  11. This is a very nice marble, Melissa - first time I've heard the name. Is it opaque?
  12. Given the context, I'm guessing that last one is a weak Vacor Sunset.
  13. Thank you for the kind words, Bill. I am happy to be back here too!
  14. Here is a Master Marble Co. Box (No. 500?) that I recently acquired. I think this particular box is VHTF, maybe even rare - my best wild find in a very long time. It's 6 5/8" x 7 1/4" and contains 52 Meteor marbles: 6 No. 5, 6 No. 2 and 40 players (No. 0) . It also includes a hand-painted buckskin bag. A local woman found it in a trunk with other toys from her recently deceased Grandfather's childhood. I purchased it and about 1/2 gallon of loose marbles from her. Of course, she had no idea what she had and was planning to donate the lot to a local church for a rummage sale. Let's just say I made her (and the church) very happy. 🙂
  15. Hey William, it's good to see you here again!
  16. Cool marble, sort of half Dragonfly and half MCR, IMO - pretty neat.
  17. The white striping glass looks orange where it appears just below the red base glass.
  18. I believe that is a nice Vitro Aquamarine - I've seen plenty with a similar "butt crack".

    Ravenswood?

FWIW, I'm getting a Heaton vibe.
  20. Thanks, Melissa, I've been tending to one of the things I love even more than marbles . . . my Mom! And I am happy to report that all is now better than might be expected for a 96 year old woman with a broken ankle. 🙂
  21. Nice examples, Stephen - don't see too many of them with positive IDs. These are the Mid-Atlantic marbles shown in Everett Grist's Big Book of Marbles (3rd ed.). I have another pin case or two around here somewhere. I'll post them a bit later if I can get to it.
