  1. O.K., Now that right there . . . THAT'S funny!! LOL LOL LOL! Would this qualify as a diaper fold?
  2. Excellent pics, and an awesome time of year.
  3. Just one more - slightly over 5/8".
  4. Nice marble, Burt. Kind of American Agate colors . . . but . . . hmmm? Here's a 19/32" I like . . . not too sure about a diaper fold though . . .
  5. Happy Birthday, Steph. I hope you have a great one!
  6. Wow, now there's a great pic of some sweet mibs. Thanks a lot. Some of them look like they don't have much white streaked in with the ade-base - sorta like an ade-based moss agate. Very nice!
  7. Thanks, I'm pretty sure they're Akro, and that the one on the left is a LemonAde. The question is really more about the patch on the right, which shares all the characteristics of the lemonade, except the pattern. Does anyone else have examples of Ade-based patches? Thanks again.
  8. Cool marbles, Duffy. And a interesting story behind them - too funny! -Ric
  9. Thanks Al. If I correctly understand some info from the Consumer Product Safety Commission pages, it seems that the actual CHOKING HAZARD warnings were not required until after the Child Safety Protection Act of 1994. Although, I do believe that age recommendations (e.g., AGES 3 AND UP) were required earlier. After 1 January, 1995, marbles required the warning: CHOKING HAZARD - This toy is a marble. Not for children under 3 yrs.
  10. The Choking Hazard Warning on this Taiwanese bag is for under age 6. Was that age ever commonly used? Does anyone have any other examples?
  11. Happy Birthday, Darla. I hope you have a great day! -Ric
  12. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Charles! I hope you have a great day.
  13. You are welcome. Here are a few examples produced prior to the JOKER II Encore run earlier this year.
  14. To the best of my knowledge, Jabo "tank wash marbles" are produced when colorless glass is used to wash out the bulk tanks prior to a marble run. Therefore, "tank wash marbles" tend to have a clear transparent base. Some may also contain colored glass, left over from prior runs, that washed out of the tank. Others may contain colored glass and/or other substances like gold lutz that were intentionally added.
  15. Happy Birthday, Buddy! Just imagine what we could do with 999 if we had metric time! lol. I hope you have a great day. -Ric
  16. Mike, Those are some beautiful marbles - outstanding work! Art is, obviously, in the eye of the beholder . . . that one's my favorite - gorgeous!
  17. This link works. I checked it and it worked for me.
  18. Thanks, Bubba. I didn't realize there was so much variation in the "base" color.
