  1. There is something about that particular shade of blue that makes me think it's Jabo. But I could be wrong ☺️
  2. Great pic's Chad, and I see you have included the rare very very hard to find white MFC slag. If I read my copy of M.F. Christenson and the Perfect Glass Ball Machine by Micheal Cohill, the white slag marble was only run once. If I still had my copy I could tell you the date, but I sold it😒. I have some pictures I saved for reference. The first two pictures are from my collection, the rest are from the before mentioned book. Fire I hope you don't mind, I think we've moved beyond blue slags.☺️ last two pics are various oxbloods and some original packaging.
  3. I'm thinking Mfc here, horizontal flow, prominent cut line opposite the nine ☺️
  4. These are Ace Corkscrews not fluorescent no oxblood largest is 31/32" ☺️
  5. I had to do some serious digging for these pics, not all are corks but some good oxblood examples ☺️
  6. Well, you've eliminated what you think it's not. Who makes big marbles? Have you tried a blacklight? Great marble ☺️
  7. Looks Akro to me, I've had some Akro's with aventurine in the green.☺️
  8. Hello Wolf, seems you don't mind talking about what you pay for marbles on Ebay, so I have some questions about this marble. You say you got it for $38 was that a buy it now or did someone else bid $37 and you bid a dollar more and got it for $38? and did that include shipping? Also, what was the incorrect description? As far as the oxblood thing goes there should be some amount of black on/in the oxblood color. I enjoy your posts ☺️
  9. Great box, the graphics are wonderful! Thanks for posting ☺️
  10. I'm guessing Vitro, is the size 9/16"? ☺️
  11. You know everyone here is trying so hard to help you identify your marbles, but it can be very hard do on a computer screen. Sometimes just feeling a marble in your hand can make a difference in identifying a marble and as a new collector it is frustrating to learn these subtle details. I remember my first marble show. I was so excited talking to the dealers they were so helpful and there were so many things to see, you should go. But don't forget your friends here☺️
  12. You know if you'd like to learn and talk about marbles you should try going to a marble show. You will learn alot about marbles and collecting at a marble show ☺️
  13. Hey Chad, that is one wet mint Cub Scout with all its' ribbons soooo hard to find. Thanks for posting 🦅
  14. Thanks Fire1981 and Akroorka for your comments. At first glance this marble appears to be a NLR Patriot but then you see those extra colors and peach, really unusual for Peltier, right? After looking at this marble again I do see some Vitro characteristics and it's less unusual for Vitro to have five or six colors. So, in the end we know not every marble can be positively identified, what's important is the discussion. I welcome more opinions ☺️
  15. Had this marble for at least 4 years. Many colors yellow, red, blue, gray, peach, white. Maker? Got a name, what do you think?☺️
  16. The reasoning for my Alley ID is the way these flames double back on themselves. On the other hand, I haven't seen this color combo before therefore my question. ☺️
  17. I hope these pics are better, I think I need a new camera 😄
  18. I've had this awhile and can't make up my mind who may have made it. What do you think? Thanks for looking 🍕
  19. All right, that makes sense. It will sit proudly in my Vitro collection. Thanks for looking☺️
