Cackid who is going to decatur marble show next weekend? I will be there thursday afternoon ,going to be a great show as always.Looking forward to seeing everybody .Hope there is a big turnout,don`t miss this fall show it`s good time marble fun!!!!!

Cackid,just hoping to bring more exposure to the marble collecting hobby,there aren,t enough younger people out there to carry on this activity we love.We have lost so many people this passed few years ,alan,vic,evertt,art just to name a few.The more people who see these beautiful works of round art that we all care so much about the more likely we will inspire new young collecters.Have also toyed with St. Louis mo. area or collensville il. area.

Cackid, all of the people who attend the decatur show drive there,I am not concerned about an airport in the area.Chuck Garrett and I talked about possible dates to have show,he suggested first of december but i am open to all suggestions.This year the decatur show & and w.v. show were on same dates ,which hurt both shows because people had to make a chose about which show they attended.I would sure like to avoid that issue and not conflict with existing show dates.

Cackid,I am working on starting a show at effingham il. in early december or next year around that time.Effingham is at the crossroads of interstate 70 &interstate 57 in eastcentral il.Will post more information later this summer. Several hotel to chose from ,lots of restaurants.Any feedback will be apreciated.

Cackid, I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT VIC ,i LOOKED UP NOTICE IN CANTON IL. NEWSPAPER WEB SITE.I don,t think chuck knew about vic yet,I sure didn,t. We lost another wonderful marble person,Vic was a marble lover who loved every one he met.Ihope barb is doing ok.god bless her,and i will miss Vic very much!

Cackid ,God bless Art,he will be missed by us all.The decatur show won,t be the same without him.If there ever was a nicer man than art,i,ve yet to meet him.Marble people are the nicest people I have ever met,and art was good people,good bye Art.We will talk mibs again in heaven someday.

Cackid, Today we all mourn the passing of a man who touched all our lives ,even if we had never had the honor of meeting him.Alan basinet will be remembered forever as long as we keep him in our hearts and minds ,and continue to love marbles as he did. CACKID One of the best shows i,ve been to at decatur,was there friday and saturday.Chuck put on another great show,more important than what I bought ,is the things I learned about marbles .Thanks chuck and all who atended had a great time, sorry it had to end!!!!!

CACKID I met mr. grist at the decatur show a few years back,he treated me like a long lost friend,he truly loved marbles ,we talked for some time that evening.I,m so happy I got to meet him ,my father had just died of heart failure ,we talked about his health problems that were similar to my dads.Talking to him relieved some of my loss of my dad.I will miss evert greatly,may he never be forgoten for his contributions to marble collecting.

Its 5\8" mint condition classic blue angle colors and pattern .been offered five hundred dollars for it ,is that to high or to low?
