I have a definite hand gathered moonie with "9" and cut off. It does have a blue tint. I always kept it with my CaCs. I'll try and get pics

Migbar, the important ID clue was that they all have feathering. That's a major hit. Thanks! They are basically realers (on a feathered moonie base). Minus the patch.

What Is The Story On Peltier White Onyxes?
BuckEye replied to Steph's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
I have a white one that appears very light blue, not their nice aqua color or dark blue. In hand looks closer to a very light aqua but when back lit, the base is clear with good feathering. I also have a true orange -
Thanks everyone that's what I was looking for, in particular referring to mfc

Can someone please enlighten me as to the sizes of marbles that are correlated to numbers such as: #00 = 1/2"? I need up to number #10 Thanks a ton Craig

If you look under the child's right armpit you can see the chord extends there and below his right hand. The left hand also appears to be holding a bulb or sphere as well. Perhaps the chord wraps around the child's back or connects the two spheres. But why?

How Many Sparkler Boxes Are Known To Exist?
BuckEye replied to Steph's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
I've seen one for sale on AAM about a year ago. I don't think it sold, the owner might still have it -
opaques and pieces. Many dont know but the lavender is almost always mottled (see pieces). Mine came from the relative of a factory worker.. Also the yellow is Very vibrant, but once you see in hand they dont look like game marbles. Hope this was helpful...Craig

Surrounding whites are 1" Multicolored errors Bricks, all sizes and types. Center is a brown brick, thin layer of green over the ox causes this

I understand and agree with both of your points. I have accident slags where it's amber with blue or green mixed in. I also have blue with red, amber with ice blue, heck I have a blue and green pelt slag. But cac didn't use the opaque electric yellow like that in slags. The electric yellow slags have a transparent yellow base with white, this is opaque. I guess what I am getting at is, since it obviously is a contaminant, it must have been after a striped trans or opaque run. Don't you think it's odd that I have two of them and a broken piece?? Ifs it's a contaminant from a previous run, why aren't there more colors mixed in one, both or the broken piece on the interior. Besides coincidence lol

I've seen an almost 3" blue. It was many years back at A local auction. I bought the other lot not knowing the value and rarity of these big boys. I just picked up a mint 1 7/8" today. I'll try and get up pics

Anyone know what size they made them up to? I know they used real big ones in old pillars and at the base and in comodes....
-
Here is a question of theory. In my cullet pieces I found this slag fragment. It has a line of electric yellow. Now electric yellow slags are a transparent electric base with white. This is an opaque streamer, which means is not a blend of two colors of slags (purple and yellow) accidentally....or is it? I have been collecting these multicolored slags for sometime now. If it's an error, how many more were made during a run 5-10? Or was it intentional? What if I told you I have two more whole ones? Would that change your answer? Any opinions are welcome Craig

Clyde, sometimes it takes knowing that the person on the receiving end will appreciate the marble in the same way you did to let it go, not just to flip it for a profit. And I know you do buddy

I don't know who this guy is, I'm not sure I remember them on the forum unless you let me know their name they posted as. Speaking strictly about the marbles, I had no issue, but agreed on the comments to you were out of line.

I had the same problem with the shipping from him this week, it got caught up in CA. Marble arrived better than described. I had no problems with communication

So were the worlds fair, mix, coates, hoover, just promotional mibs and given out at the worlds fair or did they possibly come in boxes too? Thanks for the photo eye candy, this is why I come here....to learn.
