  1. I got about 50 or so Ultras from Bermar back in the day, but I'm not sure if the speckled ones fit or not. The only ones I know of were speckled mainly with lutz. Steph's right about the oxblood - there are some really nice oxblood marbles in the Ultra run. But mainly they glow. Hit them with a UV light and they fire up a hot green . . . also a peculiar foggy turquoise color . . .
  2. I keep most of my marbles in vintage cigar boxes. Just seems natural, somehow . . .
  3. For those of you who might not see the notice posted on another website, Roger Browse, the Canadian collector (of transitionals in particular), died July 18, 2015, after a long illness (ALS).
  4. OK, guinea half confessions. I have six, two each of cobalt, amber, and colorless. I'll have to check them tonight, but as best as I remember mine are like migbar's . . . (hi Mike!)
  5. What he ^^^ said. In the photographs, it does not look like a genuine guinea. And the photographs are all we have to go on.
  6. Nice marbles. It just sounded like she was saying "Christensen bricks" like you would say "Christensen guinea." Like they were made by the same company. Not making that distinction is a pet peeve of mine. It's so misleading.
  7. 12 Christensen bricks? Do you mean M. F. Christensen?

    Brain Twister(S)

    I finally got the second part . . .
  9. Just a plain ole Alley swirl . . .

    Bob's Birthday

    That's a good price.
  11. I haven't seen one with that dark a brown, but that doesn't necessarily mean anything . . .
  12. Yep. A Glitterball. Like yours. The one that used to be mine. Still wondering how that happened. What? Wait! Oh right, the purple cork and those furnace marbles and . . .
  13. Love Kris Parke. 'Nother Alloway, but not mine (too big, thank the marble gods)
  14. Wow. And here it is again. Probably whoever bought it returned it. Or sent it to this seller for resale in hopes of recouping some money. I bought marbles from this seller on occasion, way back when, and never had a problem. Average marble knowledge, decent middle-of-the-road marbles, more-or-less in the condition described. But I haven't bought anything from her in a few years. She may not know it's not . . . as described.
  15. Struggling to breathe after that board full of Joseph's Coats!

    Just Checkin'

Yup, I'm like 50% - 50% on that question! The other view (little help)
  17. I can't think what else this might be, right? Newish or newer MK? I just liked the colors.
