It might be the sweetest deal but I, and I assume many of us, simply can't afford THAT much money for a marble with the times like they are.
I just sucked-it up and bought a $20 red flame Alley and that was a lot for me with my fixed income budget.
It's a nice marble . I have noticed that Mexico marbles have those dent lines a lot in them. The quality of workmanship leaves a lot to be desired I feel.
Just thought I'd let you know on my progress. Since I started actively collecting older marbles,remelting Jabo marbles and remelting slags I have reconditioned/remelted/repaired over 600 marbles!!!!! (This has been since March 20th of this year!)
I have made marbles with those "lines" by using 2 different techniques. One was when I uses my glass scissors and made a cut right into the hot glass and the other is called a single fold technique.
We call those "lines" folds = cut lines.
